Standard documents formatting
The standard document formatting service from Edorium eDocs is for documents containing text, lists, headings, tables and images. The standard document formatting service is for documents like reports, proposals, contracts, scientific manuscripts, short books, eBooks and pamphlets
Complex documents formatting
The complex document formatting service by Edorium eDocs is for documents containing complex structure or numbering scheme, large number of tables and images, chemical/mathematical formulas or require conversion of some elements from PDF files. The complex document formatting service is for documents like thesis, books, scientific manuscripts with chemical/mathematical formulas, handbook, manual, workbooks, promotional and educational materials.
What we do
Both simple and complex document formatting service will include applying document styles to make a consistent document to your exact specifications. The following parts/sections will be refined and enhanced.
Compile files – All text, tables and figures are compiled into a single file to apply standard and page specific formatting.
Page Layout – The page layout is applied including margins, breaks, columns, headers, footers, orientation and page numbering.
Text Formatting – The text is formatted for text style, headings, lists, numbering, and footnotes.
Tables – Table style is applied to display data in table cells clearly.
Figures – Figures including images, line art and graphs are edited, resized and adjusted to improve brightness, contrast and colors.
Captions – Table and figure captions are added.
Numbering – Figure and tables are numbered correctly and with correct cross-referencing.
Table of Contents – A plain table of contents is created. If required a dynamic, hyperlinked table of contents, list of figures and list of tables can also be made.
Consistency – Quality check of the document is done.
Extra services – If required we can create cover design, diagrams, and spreadsheets and do image work. (Charged extra)
What you receive
You will receive perfectly formatted, beautifully designed, flawless documents in fully editable MS Word format and PDF format. These documents will be in a print-ready format and can be printed and used without any further editing. Document in e-reader format (e.g. eBooks) can also be made available (charged extra).
Changes and Corrections
Two rounds of changes or corrections in the formatting will be done at no extra charge.
