Proposal and Payments

Written proposal will be provided for every project. The proposal lists the details of the task(s) and any specific requirements, and indicates the client’s acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. A confirmation of proposal and an advance payment of 40% of the total amount (or estimated amount) will be required before undertaking any project. If the original requirements change in the middle of the project, we reserve the right, after suitable consultation, to amend the original quotation.

Edorium eDocs reserves the right to refuse to work on, or issue a proposal for any document. The price and turnaround stated in a proposal are valid for one week only. After this time we reserve the right to issue a new proposal for the project. If the client changes the instructions or project material we reserve the right to re-issue the proposal.

The client agrees that they will send the final version of their document and all supporting material. The client agrees to make full payment in once the work has been completed in accordance with the proposal and these terms and conditions.

We accept payments through PayPal (Credit card, debit card, PayPal account), Western Union, wire transfer and checks. The client will be responsible for paying all charges for transfer of funds. If the client wants to make payments by any other mode, it should be indicated before signing the proposal.

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at the rate of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, from the date of the invoice until the date of payment. If a check is returned by the bank, the client will be responsible for all bank charges resulting from the returned check.

For long-term projects, an invoice will be sent each month, and payment will be immediate or within 30 days, depending on the agreement.

Formatting / Proofreading / Editing

In our document formatting service, we will work with text, tables and figures but will not change or alter the content in any way. Final responsibility for proofreading errors in completed work (including manuscripts, dissertations) rests with the client. Edorium eDocs can accept no responsibility for errors found after submission. If any errors are found in the work, they will be rectified free of charge if notified within 07 days of project completion.

Edorium eDocs is not responsible for the content of any document supplied to us or for the end use of any document produced or edited by us. Clients are solely responsible for its appropriate use, including abiding by any copyright laws, plagiarism laws and publishing requirements. We will not will assume any responsibility for any plagiarized material supplied by a client and reserves the right to return the work should we become aware of such inappropriate use. Edorium eDocs reserves the right to reject work for any client who involves any material found to be illegal, immoral or objectionable.

Should any errors be found in the work, Edorium eDocs is liable for the cost of the work only – no further liability is acknowledged.

Edorium eDocs will not open unsolicited attachments to emails or emails containing no message with the attachment.

The backup copies of the client files are normally kept for a period of one year only. After that time, they will be deleted. Clients should not rely on Edorium eDocs for back-up copies of work, after the completed project files are sent to the client, as we cannot guarantee to keep work for a year.

If you use this Website after such changes are made and posted on this page, you will be deemed to have accepted all such changes.
